Accommodation Burren
Corofin is the gateway to the Burren an area of outstanding natural beauty encompassing the Burren National Park, renowned for its rare flora and fauna. Each of the properties lies in the shadows of the Mullagh Mor Mountains and appreciates fantastic views of the Burren landscape and Lake Atedaun, a 50 acre lake located on the outskirts of Corofin village, a rich and productive water, especially for Pike and Rudd. Corofin is a peaceful and picturesque village steeped in folklore, music, song and dance on the banks of the River Fergus.
As well as Lake Atedaun, close to the village is Lake Inchiquin, a haven for fishermen. The village is also home of the Clare Heritage Museum and Genealogical Centre. Corofin is famous for traditional music and dance hosting a festival each year and Teach Ceilidhe provides traditional entertainment each week throughout July and August.
There are many fine pubs and restaurants which have nightly entertainment all year round. The traditional streets house a good selection of shops. As well as being "The Gateway to the Burren" Burren Atedaun, Corofin is the perfect location and base to explore West Clare and beyond taking in the many amenities and attractions. Within a short a distance you can experience the Atlantic beaches, Lahinch is a bustling seaside resort, popular for its long beach, surfing and golf links.
Also within a short drive you can experience the breathtaking views of the Cliffs of Moher, visit Doolin, Lisdoonvarna, the Aran Islands, Aliwee Caves, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park to name but a few. Ennis the county town of Clare is 8 miles away. The market town consists of narrow streets and laneways dating back to medieval times and many fine old buildings. The town has become an important centre for traditional music and hosts the second largest traditional music festival in Ireland each year.
Atedaun View
Atedaun View is a cottage style property that is elevated to take in the outstanding panoramic views of the lake and Burren landscape and mountains. All the accommodation is ground floor and consists of a large kitchen, dining and living room with a solid fuel stoke. The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with washer and dryer. There is a further lounge with French doors to the gardens. The main bedroom is a family room with a double and single bed and is also en-suite. There are two further double rooms both with twin beds. A fourth room has a double bed and also a solid fuel stove. There is a large family bathroom. This property can accommodate 8/9 plus a cot if required.

Cullinan House
Cullinan House is a traditional farmhouse that dates back some three hundred years. It has been recently restored maintaining some of its original features such as the large open fireplace that now stands proud in the main living area. The accommodation is all ground floor, comprising of large open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher and houses a large Stanley electric range. There is an additional parlour and both rooms have open fires. There are three large double bedrooms all en-suite and the master has a walk-in wardrobe. The master has a double bed and can easily accommodate a further single bed. The two further double rooms have twins beds. There is also a separate utility room with washer and dryer. The property can accommodate 6/7 people plus cot if required
The Old Cowshed
The Old Cowshed has been recently converted to provide spacious
ground floor accommodation that consists of a very large dining/living
room which boasts fold back French doors that allows the spectacular
views and countryside to become part of the house. The room also
has a large fireplace the houses a solid fuel stove. There is
a separate fully fitted kitchen with integrated fridge/freezer
and dishwasher. There is also a separate utility room with washer
and dryer. There are two large double rooms with twin beds and
both are on en-suite. There is a further family room with a double
and single bed. There is a further family bathroom. The lounge
also provides a double bed so this property can accommodate 8/9
people plus a cot if required.
Mountain View
Provides panoramic views of the mountains and lake making it a perfect oasis to enable you to relax and replenish the mind, body and soul. You could simply be still and take in the views, read a book or listen to music. Or why not relax your body in the sauna and for the brave then take a dip in the plunge pool. For the total mind, body and soul experience why not immerse yourself in the outside hot tub and allow yourself “just to be”.
